John Grajcar, 86 fromerly of Summit Rd., Transfer passed away at the Nugent Convalescent Home in Hermitage on November 20, 2009 at 7:04 P.M.
He was born in Sharon on March 25, 1923 to the late Michael and Bertha Stofko Grajcar. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Mary Dvoryak who passed away on January 31, 2004. They were married on April 12, 1947. He retired as a Molder after 32 years of service at the National Casting Division of Midland Ross. He was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sharon and also the AARP and the DAV. He was a veteran of the Army serving in Europe in World War II.
John is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, John Andrew and Kathy Grajcar and a grand daughter, Diane Grajcar all of Gibsonia. He is also survived by a sister, Irene Ivan of Farrell.
Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Anna DeVecentis and Mary Grajcar and a brother Edward Grajcar.
Friends may call at the Tomon Funeral & Cremations Services in the Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, 264 E. State St., Sharon on Monday, November 23, 2009 from 4 to 7 P.M. and on Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at the Sts. Peter and Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church from 10 to 11 A.M.
Funeral Services will be held at the Sts. Peter and Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church on Tuesday, November 24m 2009 at 11 A.M. by Rev. Jeff Harter. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
